Charlotte Badger was only 18 years old when she was sentenced to 7 years penal service and sent from England to Australia. While being transported from Sydney to Tasmania she orchestrated a mutiny while the captain of her ship was ashore. Her and her fellow mutineers then sailed the ship to New Zealand and the rest of her story is somewhat of a mystery.
